We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible for interruption
and restoration of interruptible supply points. Transco will always attempt
to interrupt fairly amongst the system users in each Local Distribution
Zone. This will not be possible in the case of local capacity constraints.
We will use our best knowledge and experience to ensure that interruption
is kept to a minimum. We will always be willing to listen to shippers
and to discuss any problems in dealing with our request to interrupt.
Shippers Obligations
To ensure that at all times, they, or their representative, has an Active
Notification Device in his continuous possession and control to receive
messages transmitted by Transco.
- To ensure that Transco's request for Interruption is accomplished
as per Network Code.
- To ensure that Transco has relevant contact details for all interruptible
sites (excluding NDM).
- To ensure that any relevant Ancillary agreements are maintained in
agreement with Transco.
Consumers' Obligations
We look to interruptible consumers to:-
Ensure that they have made adequate plans so they can always be interrupted
in accordance with the contractual terms in place with their shipper/supplier.
Provide their shipper/supplier with details to enable them to be contacted
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in order to effect interruption within
the prescribed time
CONSUMERS SHOULD CONTACT THEIR SHIPPER/SUPPLIER FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
