Interruption Procedure
- Transco informs shippers of the need to interrupt
- Shippers/suppliers contact their interruptible customers
- Shippers confirm with Transco that interruption has taken place
- Transco update shippers until consumers can be restored
Failure to Interrupt
- Following formal request consumer may be:
- Disconnected
- Face Financial penalties
- Be issued with a Safety warning
Consumer Obligations
- Must be able to effect interruption
- Provide shippers/suppliers with correct contact information
